Designed as the lexical companion to Wikipedia, the encyclopaedia project, Wiktionary has grown beyond a standard dictionary and now includes a thesaurus, a rhyme guide, phrase books, language statistics and extensive appendices. We aim to include not only the definition of a word, but also enough information to really understand it. Thus etymologies, pronunciations, sample quotations, synonyms, antonyms and translations are included. A. Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental disorder in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance and a deep need for admiration. On the inside, they have a very fragile self-esteem and the slightest little rude comment can make them cry on the inside. What are the downfalls of having narcissistic personality disorder? What causes someone to have this disorder?
Q. Is being anti social a symptom of the disorder ? How can it be managed ? I have been diagnosed with this disorder.

A. It would definitely appear to others to be an antisocial behavior if you are so wrapped up in yourself you can't talk to anyone else about their personal stuff. I would think it would be hard to establish caring relationships. They would worry you didn't care for them because of your self-absorbtion.
